A Snowy Reunion in the Distillery District
It was a stale white evening in the Distillery District The streets were covered in a easy snowy blanket and the glowing lights from the shops created a charming atmosphere As I walked through the cobblestone paths I could hear laughter and the sound of boots crunching on the snow.
Suddenly I spotted a conversant face It was my older friend Emma We hadn ’ t seen each early in years She was standing outside a cosy café smiling as she tried to catch snowflakes on her tongue I couldn ’ t believe my eyes.
We hugged tightly feeling the warmth of friendship amidst the chilly air It ’ s been excessively long Emma exclaimed her cheeks rosy from the cold.
We decided to grab some red-hot chocolate from the café and catch up As we sat near the window the snow continued to fall external creating a beautiful winter scene We shared stories about our lives and reminisced about the fun times we had when we were younger.
The snowflakes danced downwards and we laughed about how we used to play in the snow as kids It felt like no time had passed at all We were simply two friends reconnecting in the heart of the Distillery District.
After an hour of chatting we promised to stay in touch As I left I felt thankful for this unexpected encounter Who knew that a snowy evening could bring two older friends unitedly one time once again
The Distillery District had worked its charm on us reminding us that dead on target friendships can stand the test of time no matter how many white years apart.
